Fig 1.2 Default Outfit Exploration

We are required to decide on a theme for the alternative outfit. I chose Chinese New Year as it is a grand festival in China. Liyue's prototype is China.

Weapons Design
I have chosen catalyst as DanQing's weapon. I decided to design something similar with books or scroll as her weapon.

I took the dragon scale scroll and the painting ' Thousand Miles of Mountains and Rivers' as my reference.

FEEDBACK

Week 6: For the alternative outfit, it is ok to use another silhouette.

REFLECTION

In this task, I collected a large amount of materials and references to improve and enrich my design. I searched for traditional Chinese patterns and various types of cloud collars and applied them to the character's clothing design, making the attire of Danqing look less monotonous. Through the use of contrasting colors, I successfully made my character more prominent and eye-catching.
