● Aesthetic Principles – Animation principles
● Cognitive Principles – Principles of visualization

Output Expectation:
The presentation must be deliberated on, consider each assessment rubric of sorts to your final outcome:
● Show causality
● Multivariate graphics and visuals
● Integrate word number and images
● Content count
● Within eyesight
● Use multiple charts
● Do not de-quantify

REQUIREMENT:
Video resolution: 1920px x 1080px HD (min 1.5 mins max 3 mins)

SUBMISSION:
1. A ± 3 minute animated infographic uploaded into YouTube (unlisted)

2. Digital compilation into your Google Drive Folder

PROGRESSION
After voting, our group decided to do an infographic video animation about microplastics. All of us had been given different tasks to do research about microplastics. I searched for information about the causes and sources of microplastics from Google and arranged them in Figma.

We get some video references and color palettes and then arranged them in Figma.

Each group member was given different tasks to ensure a smooth workflow. One of my teammates draw the storyboard and presented it to our lecturer. After getting confirmation, we start to work.

My teammates upload and arrange their final drawings and coloring in Figma.

I was required to do animation of scenes 50 - 64. I change the color in Adobe Illustrator following the instructions from my group leader. I also separate the layers in AI to ensure the animation works well. I used After Effects to animate the elements. After completing my part, I uploaded it to Google Drive and passed it on to my teammates.

REFLECTION

In this task, our group created an infographic video about microplastics. The workflow was highly efficient, thanks to our leader's well-structured task distribution and time management. Everyone had a clear role, which helped ensure smooth progress throughout the project.

My main responsibility was animation production, where I worked on bringing the visuals to life. During the process, I made color and typography adjustments in certain scenes based on our leader’s feedback. To improve efficiency, I also took the initiative to separate layers in advance, making it easier to animate in After Effects. This step significantly streamlined my workflow and helped prevent complications during the animation phase.

When I encountered technical issues, I turned to ChatGPT for support, which allowed me to quickly troubleshoot and find solutions without delaying my work. This experience reinforced the importance of knowing where to seek help and how to integrate problem-solving into a fast-paced production process.

Overall, our team worked well together, with everyone completing their tasks on time, which contributed to a pleasant and productive collaboration. This project helped me further develop my skills in animation and team-based workflow management, and I look forward to applying these experiences to future creative projects.
